About PWR WALL Battery
The PWR WALL Battery is the storage component of the PWR SOLAR SYSTEM. The battery can be used for grid-connected solar applications such as self-supply, rate arbitrage, and clean backup power. The battery is designed to work seamlessly with PWR Links and the PWR Inverter to form the PWR Solar system for grid-tied solar-plus-storage.
All PWR WALL battery products use the Shutdown Disconnector to connect to each other. The Shutdown Disconnector automates the flow power to enable plug-and-play setup and operation of PWRSolar equipment.
Points to Remember
Each battery cabinet can store between 9 and 12 kWh of energy using between three and four 3 kWh battery modules. Two battery cabinets can be combined to obtain a storage capacity of up to 24 kWh.
The PWRSolar can provide up to 12,000 watts of peak power to start heavy duty appliances like well pumps and air conditioners.
When used with PWR Inverter’s intelligent management modules, the PWRSolar system can prioritize the start-up of large appliances, allowing it to run more appliances than any other solar battery system on the market.
The PWRSolar system can be installed alongside a new or existing solar system, and costs between $10,000 and $15,000, depending on the size of your system and where you live or industry.
Additional 3 kWh battery modules can be purchased for around $1500 and installed in the battery cabinet to add storage capacity as needs change.

Like other home solar batteries, the PWRSOLAR battery is designed to provide backup power in the event of a grid outage and to save homeowners money by helping them avoid costly peak energy charges in as part of time-of-use energy pricing plans.
The PWRSOLAR stores the energy generated by your solar panels and provides power to your home or business when the sun is not shining or when the grid is down.
Unlike other home solar batteries, the PWRSOLAR is an integrated system of components that can work together to make the energy storage system more efficient and effective. PWR Solar System manufactures all pieces of equipment for a solar home system, except the solar panels and brackets.
When part of a new solar installation, a PWR SOLAR system includes the following main components:
Shutdown Disconnector in-line disconnectors that go between each solar panel and allow quick shutdown in case firefighters need to work on the roof.
Solar Optimizer Link power optimizers that take energy from the panels and send it to the battery and inverter
PWR Energy Storage battery modules to store solar energy, inside a battery cabinet specially designed.
A PWRInverter solar island inverter that connects all the elements together and sends the current to the electrical panel of your home or business.

Existing solar installations with a power greater than 7.6 kW can also be AC coupled with the PWRSOLAR. In this situation, the existing system power must be split, with up to 7.6 kW available to charge the PWRSOLAR battery and the inverter battery.
The PWRSOLAR SYSTEM battery and inverter can also be added to an existing solar system, and can accommodate up to 7.6 kW of solar energy. In this situation, the system uses an automatic transfer switch (ATS) connected between the main electrical panel and the PWRInverter. This switch allows the system to accept incoming energy from the existing solar inverter and use it to power the home and charge the PWR Energy Stroage battery, depending on the needs of the home or business and the battery charge status.
This type of connection of the PWRSOLAR is called AC coupling, because the connection between the PWRSOLAR system and the existing solar inverter is made after the conversion of direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). In contrast, the complete PWRSolar system shown in the diagram above connects the DC output of the solar panels to the battery and only converts this current to AC when it is sent to the main electrical panel of the house.
